Derrick Henry Stymied By Ravens

General

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry carried the ball 18 times for 40 yards in the team's wild-card round loss to the Ravens. He added three receptions for 11 yards. It was a sour close to the season after a dominant regular season campaign for Henry during which he racked up over 2,000 yards on the ground. As some consolation, Henry will remain under contract with the Titans in 2021, giving him another chance to contribute to a playoff run. There is no doubt, Henry will be one of the top picks in next year's fantasy drafts. All hail King Henry!

Derrick Henry Likely To Be Relied On Heavily Against Ravens

General

Tennessee Titans running back and NFL rushing leader Derrick Henry heads into next Saturday's wild-card showdown with the Ravens, a team he dismantled in the Divisional Round last year, averaging 5.36 yards per carry, with 17 touchdowns in 16 games this season. Henry's bruising mentality is going to be needed in what could be a physical battle of attrition. "It's been a very physical, very tough rivalry over the years," Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said on a conference call with Tennessee reporters on Wednesday, "and I don't think too much has changed over the years." Look for Henry to touch the ball 25-30 times in this playoff matchup.

Derrick Henry Eclipses 2,000 Yards On The Season

General

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry ran the ball 34 times for 250 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 41-38 win over the Texans. With yet another huge performance against Houston, Henry became the eighth back in history to run for 2,000 yards in a season, with his 2,027 yards coming in as the fifth-highest mark ever. He also locked up his second straight rushing title in the process and set a new career-high with 17 rushing TDs. Henry will remain the key to the Titans' offense as they prepare to host the Ravens next Sunday in the wild-card round. He's looking very much like the first pick in fantasy drafts next season, after another profound season.

Derrick Henry Poised For Monster Game

General

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry leads the league with 1,777 rushing yards and is primed to add a substantial chunk to that total in Week 17 when the Titans take on a Houston defense that has allowed the most rushing yards (2,082) and rushing touchdowns (19) to running backs this season. It's an extremely exciting matchup as the Titans will likely rely heavily on Henry to close out their season on a high note. There is absolutely no reason you should be avoiding Henry in this matchup. He's a no-doubt RB1 in week 17.

Derrick Henry Fails To Top 100 Yards In Blowout Loss

General

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry rushed 23 times for 98 yards in Sunday's 40-14 loss to the Packers. He was not targeted in the passing game. Henry was held in check by Green Bay's defense. Henry failed to top 100 yards but still was very active in the game script, despite the Titans playing from behind for the majority of the game. Look for Henry to finish the regular season on a high note Sunday when he takes on the Texans, who he ran all over in their first meeting this year to the tune of 212 yards and two scores.

Derrick Henry 321 Yards Away From 2,000 On The Year

General

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry has stiff-armed his way to league highs in both rushing yards (1,679) and rushing touchdowns (15) heading into the Titans Week 16 road matchup with a Packers Defense that has surrendered 18 scrimmage touchdowns to running backs, which is tied for third-most in the league. It's another juicy draw in Week 16 for Henry. He needs 321 yards over the final two weeks for a 2,000-yard rushing campaign, and the Packers are struggling to stop the run. Henry will likely keep rolling and should be started in all leagues.

Related: Derrick Henry

Derrick Henry Lives Up To Expectations On Sunday

General

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry racked up 147 yards and a score off 24 attempts during the victory over the Lions on Sunday afternoon. He also caught both of his targets for five yards. It's December, so fantasy aficionados know exactly what to expect out of the 26-year-old during this time of year. With 422 yards and three touchdowns since the beginning of the month, fantasy managers should keep Henry rolling in all formats against the Packers in Week 16.

Related: Derrick Henry

Derrick Henry Poised For Another Monster Game

General

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry had his second game of the season with 200 rushing yards and two touchdowns last week, and Tennessee's star running back is capable of posting another such performance in Week 15 against a Lions Defense that has surrendered a league-high 23 scrimmage touchdowns to running backs. He's poised for another monster game and is a no doubt RB1 in Week 15. Start with confidence.

Derrick Henry Goes Crazy In Week 14

General

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry rushed the ball 26 times for 215 yards and two touchdowns in Week 14 against the Jaguars. He added two receptions for seven yards. Henry bounced back in a big way by topping 200 rushing yards for the second time on the season. He ripped off three rushes of more than 20 yards, including a game-long 47-yarder as well as a 36-yard touchdown. Henry also found the end zone from one yard away midway through the third quarter. He has some very favorable matchups going forward drawing games against Detroit, Green Bay, and Houston. He's an RB1 without question.

Related: Derrick Henry

Derrick Henry Primed For Bounce Back Game

General

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry only managed 84 yards in the first meeting between the Titans and Jaguars, but the workhorse running back will likely top that total in their Week 14 rematch, considering Jacksonville is allowing 136.9 rushing yards per game -- third-most in the league. He struggled to get anything going last week and he's primed for a bounce-back performance here. He should find the end zone and will be an elite-level RB1 on Sunday.

Related: Derrick Henry

Derrick Henry Gets Shut Down

General

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry carried the ball 15 times for 60 yards in the team's Week 13 loss to the Browns. He added one reception for nine yards. Henry entered the game having logged three consecutive 100-yard efforts on the ground, but he was limited in his impact against the Browns. His ineffectiveness played a key role in the Titans' 38-7 deficit. Despite the poor performance, Henry should be in a strong position for a bounce-back effort in Week 14 against Jacksonville.

Related: Derrick Henry

Derrick Henry Could See More Targets In Passing Game

General

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry exploded for three touchdowns in last week's blowout win. He's been running as a man possessed. The Titans host a Browns team that's limiting opponents to 108 yards per game on the ground, but that should be no issues for Henry who is in mid-season stride. Titans coach Mike Vrabel has also said the team has to "be able to throw the ball" to Derrick Henry more. If he's to see more targets via the passing attack, this could bode well for Henry's owners who already have been enjoying an amazing season from him. He's a locked and loaded RB1, and should see 25+ touches again in week 13.

Related: Derrick Henry

Derrick Henry Delivers Monstrous Performance

General

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry carried the ball 27 times for 178 yards and three touchdowns in Week 12 against the Colts. He added two receptions for seven yards. Henry sliced through the Colts' run defense for the entire game, ripping off eight runs of ten or more yards. He also notched his fourth multi-touchdown effort of the campaign, logging rushing scores of 12, 11, and one yard. Henry continues to mix tremendous volume with efficiency and his fantasy owners are feeling thankful for that. He will be an elite level RB1 in the Week 13 matchup against the Browns.

Related: Derrick Henry

Derrick Henry Faces Tough Test In Week 12

General

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry won last week's game in overtime with his ninth touchdown in the last eight contests, but the Colts are one of two teams that have been able to keep Tennessee's star running back out of the end zone during this stretch and they have allowed only five rushing scores to running backs heading into Week 12. The 133-yard performance in Week 11 put Henry back in the NFL rushing lead with 1,079 rushing yards in 2020. The Colts are very stingy on defense, though. Henry should play as a mid-range RB1 in this matchup.

Related: Derrick Henry

Derrick Henry Has Another Massive Game In Win

General

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry rushed the ball 28 times for 133 yards and a touchdown in Week 11 against the Ravens. He added a reception for -1 yards. Henry relied on volume for the majority of his production, which has become the norm for the star running back. With the performance, Henry has surpassed 100 rushing yards for the sixth time this season and third time in his last four contests. With workload always on his side, Henry will remain a top-end option even in another tough matchup in Week 12 against the Colts.

Related: Derrick Henry

Derrick Henry Faces Injury Riddled Ravens Defensive Line

General

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry topped the 100-yard mark on the ground for the fifth time last week, and while the Ravens are holding opponents to 109.7 rushing yards per game, Tennessee's workhorse running back should benefit from injuries to Baltimore's defensive line in week 11. Since the beginning of the 2019 campaign, he leads the NFL with 11 total 100-yard rushing games in the regular season. Henry also reclaimed the 2020 NFL rushing lead. His quarterback Ryan Tannehill has struggled as of late, though, and it appears as though the offense will flow directly through Henry, as has become commonplace in Tennessee. Henry is an elite-level RB1 in all league formats.

Related: Derrick Henry

Derrick Henry Tops 100 Yards In Loss

General

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry rushed 19 times for 103 yards and brought in one of two targets for six yards in the Titans' 34-17 loss to the Colts on Thursday night. Henry's numbers were about the only bright spot for the Titans on a forgettable night overall, with the star running back posting his fifth 100-yard effort of the campaign. The Pro Bowl running back has now averaged over 5.0 yards per rush against the Colts' normally stingy defense that last three times he's faced Indianapolis dating back to last season, and he'll look for similar success against a Ravens team he trampled for 195 yards in January's AFC Divisional Round Game when the Titans take on Baltimore in a Week 11 showdown on Sunday, Nov. 22.

Related: Derrick Henry

Derrick Henry Looking To Get Back On Track

General

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry had a five-game touchdown streak snapped last week, but he still has eight rushing scores in the past six games and is set to resume his workhorse role for the Titans in Week 10 against a Colts Defense that's holding opponents to 83.6 rushing yards per game. The matchup itself looks difficult on paper but Henry should be the focal point in the offense on Thursday. Look for an insane volume again -- Henry should play as an RB1 Thursday evening.

Related: Derrick Henry

Derrick Henry Shut Down By Bears Defense

General

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry rushed the ball 21 times for 68 yards in Week 9 against the Bears. Henry saw his normal volume of carries but was shut down by the excellent Bears' run defense. He did rip off a 26-yard run that ultimately led to a two-yard touchdown for Jonnu Smith. Aside from the carry, Henry managed to gain only 46 yards on 20 carries and was also shut out in the passing game for the third time this season. Henry will look for a bounce-back performance in Week 10 against the Colts in another tough matchup.

Related: Derrick Henry

Derrick Henry Figures To Have Heavy Workload Again Sunday

General

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry has rumbled for eight touchdowns in his last five games. The workhorse back should again see a heavy workload in what figures to be a low scoring affair Sunday against the Bears. Chicago is allowing only 20.8 points per game this season. Based on volume alone, Henry will remain a top-five option. Expect 25-30 touches per usual -- Henry is locked in as an RB1 in all league formats.
