Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (concussion) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's Divisional Round game versus Cleveland. Mahomes departed in the third quarter after coming up wobbly following a tackle on a QB scramble. The team took Mahomes into the tent on the sidelines, before he was able to run into the locker room to undergo further evaluation. Upon additional testing, he has been diagnosed with a concussion, which means that Chad Henne will assume QB duties for the rest of the game. The next chance that Mahomes would have to suit up comes next Sunday in the AFC Championship Game versus Buffalo if Kansas City can close out the Browns, although Mahomes will still need to clear concussion protocol for that to happen.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes exited Sunday's contest versus Cleveland after coming up wobbly following a scramble during the third quarter. Mahomes needed to be helped to the sidelines before entering the medical tent, but he was able to run to the locker room. Chad Henne took over to complete the drive, which ended with a Chiefs field goal. Mahomes is likely to be tested for a concussion, but he was also dealing with a left big toe ailment that limited his mobility earlier in the game. Check back for the latest updates on Mahomes as they become available.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is the top fantasy quarterback option on Sunday's Divisional Round slate when he faces off against the Cleveland Browns. Of all the teams left in the playoffs, no one allows more fantasy points per game to quarterbacks than Cleveland. Mahomes should have no trouble exploiting this Browns secondary, and while his high DFS salary might make it tough to build lineups with him, he's still by far the best play on the slate.

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that quarterback Patrick Mahomes will not play in Week 17 against the Chargers. The Chiefs have already locked up the top seed in the AFC postseason and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, so they will rest most of their starters in a meaningless Week 17 game. This is exactly why most fantasy leagues wrap up in Week 16. With Mahomes inactive on Sunday, veteran Chad Henne will get the start under center against Los Angeles. Because pass-catchers like Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce will also likely be rested for this one, Henne should be avoided for fantasy purposes on Sunday. Henne has attempted just six passes in two games this year and hasn't started an NFL game since 2014 when he was with the Jaguars.

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said some of the starters will not play in Week 17 against the Chargers with the team having clinched the AFC's No. 1 playoff seed and a first-round bye with their Week 16 win over the Falcons. Reid wasn't specific on which players would be rested, but he suggested that backup quarterback Chad Henne would play instead of Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes could start the game, but he most certainly will not finish it. The Chiefs won't be the only team doing this, which is why most fantasy leagues wrap up their championship matchup in Week 16. Wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins (calf) are likely to be rested as well, and it wouldn't be a surprise if tight end Travis Kelce sits, too. Receivers Mecole Hardman and Demarcus Robinson could see a lot of run against the Chargers this weekend.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was held in check by the Atlanta Falcons in Week 16. Mahomes came into Sunday with a great matchup on paper, but was just 24-for-44 on the afternoon with two touchdowns and one interception for 278 yards. Mahomes also rushed three times for 21 yards. It was far from his best performance of the season, but he still put up respectable numbers for managers on Sunday. Mahomes remains a QB1 on a weekly basis, but he could sit in Week 17 against the Los Angeles Chargers with the Chiefs clinching the top seed in the AFC.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will look to continue his fantastic season in Week 16 versus the Atlanta Falcons. Mahomes is a top quarterback play every week, but Week 16 offers an enticing matchup against a Falcons Defense that is allowing just over 300 yards through the air and two touchdowns a game. Mahomes should be able to take advantage of Atlanta's weak defense and put up QB1 numbers for managers that are still in the playoffs. Mahomes also is a strong play for those participating in DFS in Week 16 and it wouldn't be a bad call to team him up with wide receiver Tyreek Hill or tight end Travis Kelce.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed 26-of-47 passes for 254 yards and three touchdowns in a Week 15 victory against the New Orleans Saints. Mahomes also added 37 yards on seven rush attempts. It wasn't his best performance, but he was still able to help managers with three touchdowns on the afternoon. Mahomes will face a weak Atlanta Falcons Defense in Week 16 and managers should continue to start him without hesitation.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will face a tough task against the New Orleans Saints Defense in Week 15. Mahomes threw three interceptions in Week 14, but was still able to toss a pair of touchdowns for 393 yards. Mahomes will now go up against the Saints and they are only allowing opposing signal callers to pass for 225 yards per game, but they are allowing just under two touchdowns a game to quarterbacks. With Drew Brees back from injury, expect this game to be a shootout. That should benefit Mahomes and allow him plenty of opportunities to put up points. Despite the tough matchup, Mahomes still runs the most explosive offense and should be fired up as a QB1 on Sunday.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw three interceptions in a Week 14 victory against the Miami Dolphins. Despite the unusual amount of turnovers, Mahomes still completed 24 of his 34 passes for 393 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He also rushed for 10 yards. Mahomes may have struggled with turnovers on Sunday, but he was still able to put together a solid performance for managers. Mahomes will remain a top option at the quarterback position in Week 15 against the New Orleans Saints.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will face a tough task against the Miami Dolphins in Week 14. Mahomes is coming off of a Week 13 performance against the Broncos that saw him throw for 318 yards and just one touchdown, but managers shouldn't worry, because the Broncos have been the only team that Mahomes hasn't had a multi touchdown performance against in 2020. The Dolphins Defense has been stingy this year and has allowed just 253 yards per games and under two touchdowns per game to opposing quarterback. However, it's still Patrick Mahomes and most stats can be valued as a grain of salt for the talented passer. Managers should have no hesitation firing up Mahomes as a QB1 in Week 14, but this may be a week that those playing DFS will want to avoid the quarterback.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was held in check by the Denver Broncos in Sunday's Week 13 victory. Mahomes threw 40 passes, but only completed 25 of them for 318 yards and one touchdown on the evening. Despite only throwing for one touchdown, Mahomes remains one of the best assets for managers in all formats. The Broncos have played Mahomes well this season and he only passed for 518 yards and two touchdowns in two contests. The good news for managers is that Mahomes will no longer have to face the Broncos this season. Mahomes will continue to be a QB1 and will face a tough Miami Dolphins Defense in Week 14.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will look to continue his magnificent year against the Denver Broncos in Week 13. Mahomes only passed the ball 25 times for 213 and one touchdown when the teams met in Week 7, but he leads the league with 3497 passing and is third in the league with 30 touchdowns. Managers shouldn't worry about Week 7 as much was attributed to the game flow in that contest. Mahomes remains one of the best and safest options at any position and should continue to be a QB1 regardless of the matchup.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes put together another dominant display in Week 12 versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Mahomes was 37-for-49 on the evening for 462 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. Mahomes helped wide receiver Tyreek Hill go for 269 yards and continues to lead the Chiefs dynamic offense. Mahomes is arguably the best player in the game and will continue to be a QB1. The MVP will face a Broncos Defense that held him to 200 yards and one touchdown in Week 5, but remains a must start in all formats.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes faces a Tampa Bay defense that allows the seventh-fewest fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this week. It's not the greatest matchup for Mahomes, but that doesn't matter a ton for fantasy managers. He has 348 or more yards in three consecutive appearances. He's a clear QB1 play every single week when it comes to season-long formats, though there's slight reason for concern when it comes to paying up for Mahomes in DFS.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was 34-for-45 for 348 yards with a pair of touchdowns and one interception in Week 11 versus the Las Vegas Raiders. He also rushed four times for 16 yards. Mahomes topped off his night by tossing a 22-yard touchdown to tight end Travis Kelce with 28 seconds left in the contest to give the Chiefs the lead at the time and eventually the victory. Mahomes continues to put together another MVP season for managers and remains a QB1 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a tough matchup.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will look for revenge against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 11. The Raiders upset the Chiefs in Week 5, but it wasn't due to Mahomes. The MVP passed for 340 yards, two touchdowns and threw one interception in that contest. Things should be even easier for Mahomes in Week 11 with the Raiders placing almost all of their starting defense on the COVID-19 list. The Raiders already have a vulnerable defense and if they don't have their starters versus an explosive Chiefs offense, things could get wild fast. Mahomes was on fire entering the teams Week 10 bye week and has nine touchdowns and zero interceptions in his last two outings. Mahomes should safely be fired up as a QB1 and is worth considering in DFS in Week 11.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes became the fastest quarterback to throw for 100 touchdowns in Week 9 versus the Carolina Panthers. The Chiefs got off to a slow start, but Mahomes once again came through for fantasy managers. Mahomes tossed four touchdowns in this contest and was 30-for-45 for 372 yards. The MVP has been on fire lately and will head into a bye week with 25 touchdowns and just one interception. Mahomes remains a weekly QB1 and should enjoy another favorable matchup versus the Las Vegas Raiders after the Chiefs bye.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is coming off of his second game with five touchdowns this season and will look to continue his strong season against the Carolina Panthers in a Week 9 matchup. The Panthers Defense has respectively held Tom Brady to 217 passing yards and Kyler Murray to 133 earlier this season, but managers should still be confident in Mahomes and he should never be benched. The Panthers defensive unit has gotten stronger as the season has gone on and has only allowed two pass plays over 40 yards, both which came in the first two weeks of the season. Despite all of this, Patrick Mahomes is in a class of his own and managers should feel confident rolling with the MVP as a QB1 on a weekly basis.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes dominated in Week 8 against the New York Jets. Mahomes was 31-for-42 on the afternoon for 416 yards and five touchdowns. Mahomes made it look easy against the winless Jets. The MVP was pulled in the fourth quarter with the game out of hand, but managers have to be happy with the results Mahomes gave them. Mahomes will face the Carolina Panthers in Week 9 and remains a QB1 every week.
