Darren Waller Looks To Finish Strong

General

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller will look to cap off what has been an incredible 2020 campaign in Week 17. Over the last four games, Waller is averaging nearly nine catches for about 134 yards per contest. The Broncos Defense held Waller to just three catches for 37 yards in their first meeting, but that was more of a fluke performance. He has hit the 1000-yard mark for the second straight season and is two catches away from 100 for the season. Fantasy owners should feel confident in Waller's ability to finish the season a high note.

Darren Waller Records 112 Yards

General

Las Vegas Raiders Darren Waller had his second straight 100-yard game in a loss against the Dolphins, catching five passes on six targets for 112 yards. The Dolphins played tight coverage against Waller, but he was able to make multiple contested catches. Waller now has three 100-yard games over his last four and has eclipsed the 1000-yard mark for a second straight season. He will look to cap off another incredible season next week against the Broncos. Waller had just three catches in their first meeting but will likely have a better outing in Week 17.

Darren Waller A Must-Start TE1 Versus Dolphins

General

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller is a TE1 in Week 16, despite facing a Dolphins Defense that ranks seventh against opposing tight ends. Waller is averaging about nine catches for 141 yards over his last three games and has also found the end zone three times. He is on pace to catch at least 100 balls for the first time in his career and eclipse 1000 receiving yards for the second straight season. Waller has shown that he will produce in any matchup, so fantasy owners should look for him to have another good performance.

Darren Waller Dominant In Loss

General

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller once again showed that he is nearly impossible to guard. He caught nine passes on 12 targets for 150 yards and a touchdown in a Week 15 loss against the Chargers. Waller now has 93 catches on the season with 29 of them coming over the last three contests. He has gone for over 100 yards three times this season with two of them coming over the last three games. He seems to be playing his best football down the final stretch of the season, and it is also encouraging that he could still produce when Derek Carr had to leave the game due to injury. He will be a must-start option next week against a tough Dolphins Defense.

Darren Waller Looking For Another Strong Performance

General

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller will look for another solid outing in Week 15 against the Chargers. Waller has been one of the better tight ends all season and has posted exceptional numbers over the past two weeks. In the last two games, Waller has a whopping 27 targets and has 275 receiving yards. He had just 22 yards in a Week 9 matchup against the Chargers but salvaged that performance with five catches and a touchdown. Look for Waller to continue this momentum and have another good game. He is definitely a must-start option.

Darren Waller Catches Seven Passes In Loss

General

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller had a solid day against the Colts, catching seven passes on 10 targets for 75 yards. It was not the performance he posted last week, but it was still a solid outing against a defense that ranked first against opposing tight ends coming into the week. Waller now has double-digit targets in back-to-back games and five such games so far this season. He is arguably the second-best tight end in football and remains a must-start option no matter what he has to match up against. Look for Waller to have another good performance next week against the Chargers.

Darren Waller A TE1 Against Colts

General

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller had a dominant performance against the Jets last week but will definitely have a tougher matchup against the Colts Defense. The Colts defense ranks first against opposing tight ends, so receptions will not come easy. However, Waller is simply too good to be put on the bench. He has 77 receptions and 742 receiving yards, which are both second among all tight ends behind Travis Kelce. He is averaging about 10 targets per game, giving him ample opportunity to put up good numbers. He likely will not another 200-yard performance like he did last week, but he is absolutely a must-start option, despite a difficult matchup.

Darren Waller Goes For 200 Yards And Two Touchdowns

General

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller exploded in a Week 13 victory against the Jets with 13 catches on 17 targets for 200 yards and two touchdowns. It was reasonable to expect Waller to rebound after last week's lackluster performance, but fantasy owners have to be thrilled with this type of outing. This was the most targets, yards, and tied for the most receptions that Waller has had in his five-year career. He now has 77 receptions on the year, which is about 6.5 per game. Fantasy owners cannot expect Waller to put up this type of performance again next week against the Colts, but he continues to show why he is a must-start option every week.

Darren Waller Likely To Rebound Versus Jets

General

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller disappointed last week against a bad Falcons Defense but will likely bounce back this week against the Jets. The Jets Defense ranks 29th against opposing tight ends, and Waller is the second-most expensive DFS tight end this week. Waller has had a few bad performances this season but always seems to bounce back. He has followed up his disappointing performances this season with at least five catches in the following game. Look for Waller to rebound in a big way this week. He is definitely a must-start TE1 in Week 13.

Related: Darren Waller

Darren Waller Disappoints Against Falcons

General

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller had a disappointing day as did the rest of the team, catching just four passes on seven targets for 27 yards. His seven targets was second-most on the team, but it did not amount to a performance that fantasy owners would like to see out of one of the top tight ends in football. With that being said, he has at least five targets in nine of 11 games this season and is still a must-start tight end despite this poor performance. He takes on a Jets Defense next week that allowed a touchdown to Miami's Mike Gesicki in Week 12.

Related: Darren Waller

Darren Waller Looks For Dominant Performance Against Atlanta

General

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller is a must-start TE1 option this week against the Falcons Defense. The Falcons defenses are one of the worst teams in the league against the pass and rank 23rd against opposing tight ends. Waller is the Raiders' No. 1 offensive weapon and is coming off a great performance against the Chiefs where he caught seven passes for 88 yards and a touchdown. He is averaging more than nine targets and six receptions per game this season, so it is reasonable to expect a very good fantasy performance against a poor Falcons defense. Look for Waller to have a big day in Week 12.

Related: Darren Waller

Darren Waller Has Strong Performance Against Chiefs

General

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller once again proved why he is one of the best tight ends in football in a Sunday night loss against the Chiefs. Waller hauled in seven catches for 88 yards and a touchdown. It was the most yards and catches he has had in a game since Week 4. He has now caught at least five passes in eight of 10 games this year, showing that he is a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses. Next week will be his debut against the Falcons, and there is a great chance that he posts another solid performance.

Related: Darren Waller

Darren Waller Still Considered A Must-Start Option

General

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller had a down week last week against the Broncos but will likely bounce back this week against the Chiefs. His receiving yards have been down over the last few weeks, but that was largely due to Derek Carr not throwing many passes. This week against the Chiefs will be a different story where the Raiders will need to throw more to keep up with the Chiefs explosive offense. Waller is averaging over eight targets and six receptions per game, and he is on the field for the majority of the team's snaps every week. Waller was good against the Chiefs in Week 5, catching five passes for 48 yards and a touchdown. Look for Waller to have a strong performance in Week 11.

Related: Darren Waller

Darren Waller Catches Three Passes

General

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller had a disappointing day against the Broncos, catching just three passes on five targets for 37 yards. While it was a disappointing day, fantasy owners should not be concerned. It was a day where the Raiders rushing attack and defense mostly dominated the game, so it did not leave Waller a lot of opportunity to produce. This marks just the second game of the season where Waller has caught less than five passes, and he has been targeted at least five times in every game but one. Waller will look for a bounce-back performance next week against the Chiefs, where he caught five passes for 48 yards and a touchdown in Week 5.

Related: Darren Waller

Darren Waller Looks To Stay Consistent

General

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller has been productive in almost every week this season and will look to continue that trend this week against the Broncos. Waller is not racking up the receiving yards he did last season, but he has caught at least five passes in five straight games. He leads the Raiders in targets and receptions and has caught touchdown passes in three of his last four games. The Broncos Defense is average in defending tight ends, ranking 16th in the league. Waller is one of the best tight ends in all of football and continues to be a must-start option every week.

Related: Darren Waller

Darren Waller Likely To Bounce Back Against Chargers

General

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller had a difficult Week 8 game against the Browns, but that was in large part due to the inclement weather and the Raiders struggling to throw the ball. Waller still managed to catch five passes but had just 27 yards. While it was a disappointing fantasy day, Waller has caught five passes in six of seven games this season. The Chargers rank 22nd against opposing tight ends this year, so Waller will have a great opportunity to bounce back. He ranks second among tight ends in fantasy points per game, so he is a must-start option in Week 9.

Related: Darren Waller

Darren Waller Has Favorable Week 8 Matchup

General

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller is having another solid season and will have a great opportunity to continue that this week against the Browns. Waller is currently third in fantasy points per game among tight ends, and the Browns rank 28th against opposing tight ends this season. He is leading the Raiders in both targets and receiving yards, and the Browns will have a difficult time matching up against him this week. He had a tough matchup against the Buccaneers last week and still managed to catch 6 balls for 50 yards and a touchdown. This is a much easier matchup, and he is definitely a must-start option. Look for Waller to have a big Week 8.

Related: Darren Waller

Darren Waller Continues To Produce

General

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller had another solid outing, catching six passes on nine targets for 50 yards and a touchdown against the Buccaneers. He has seen the most targets in almost every game this season, and today was another example of that. The Buccaneers are one of the best defenses in the league, and Waller showed that he could produce despite the difficult matchup. He will have an easier matchup next week against the Browns, and they certainly do not have a linebacker or safety that is capable of defending Waller for four quarters. Expect another big performance from him next week.

Related: Darren Waller

Darren Waller A Must-Start Despite Tough Matchup

General

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller has a tough test against the Buccaneers this week, but he should be able to produce a solid fantasy performance. Waller has been great at home this season, with 21 catches, 193 yards, and a touchdown in two games. The Buccaneers have one of the league's best defenses, but the Patriots are the only team to hold Waller under five catches so far this season. He currently ranks third in fantasy points per game among tight ends, and he leads the Raiders in targets. The Buccaneers rank sixth in the league against tight ends, but fantasy owners should feel comfortable starting him based on his performances so far this season.

Related: Darren Waller

Darren Waller Catches Touchdown

General

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller caught five passes for 48 yards and a touchdown on seven targets in a win against the Chiefs. Waller continues to show why he is considered one of the best tight ends in football and remains a must-start option every week. He is averaging over nine targets per week, which is the most on the Raiders by far. He has just one game where he has caught less than five passes, and he is on the field for over 90 percent of the team's offensive snaps. He continues to be a model of consistency and should regularly be relied on for solid fantasy performances. He takes on a good Buccaneers Defense in Week 7, but he should still be able to put up another respectable performance.
