WEEK 8 MNF POST-MORTEM
Sadly, Deebo Samuel hauled in just half of his six targets on Monday night, resulting in a loss from his 4+ receptions leg alone. I was always going to roll with receptions for Samuel on Monday night (which looks to have been a good choice given he had just 11 receiving yards), so we were doomed no matter what.
That said, I may have gotten too cute by including Brashard Smith for 10+ receiving yards on the Basic Ticket. His streak of three targets in four consecutive games was snapped on Monday when he did not earn a single target. Perhaps I should have stuck with more of the key Kansas City pieces instead.
Down -0.85 units on the night. Onward to Week 9.
