NFL Week 9 Picks

Rashee Rice (WR, KC)
  • Fantasy Score (Standard) — MORE

  • PrizePicks: 17.0

  • Fantasy Points: 21.3

Rice leads all WRs this week in projection gap and continues to post elite efficiency — averaging 1.06 FP/RR across both man and zone. That is my favorite fantasy stat of the season. The Bills are about middle of the pack in man and zone deployment, but they are in the top 10 for two-high looks. Rice sees a 29% boost in FPRR against two-high compared to one-high. He’s on fire right now, and this matchup gives him every chance to stay hot.

Josh Jacobs (RB, GB)
  • Fantasy Score (Standard) — MORE

  • PrizePicks: 13.5

  • Fantasy Points: 18.3

Jacobs has been banged up but hasn’t slowed down, falling below this projection just once all year. The Packers’ rushing grade ranks 6th, and Carolina’s defense allows a 4.6% TD rate — 7th-highest in the league. With a +4.8 fantasy-point projection gap, this is one of the strongest RB edges we’ve seen in weeks.

Daniel Jones (QB, IND)
  • Pass Yards (Standard) — MORE

  • PrizePicks: 248.5

  • Fantasy Points: 278.9

The Steelers are giving up the most passing yards per game by over 20 yards compared to the 2nd highest. The Steelers, also, allow the 3rd-highest completion percentage over expectation (7.3%). The crazy thing is that the Steelers have the lowest percentage of deep throws per attempt. Jones and the Colts draw the best QB matchup of the week, and he’s topped this projection two straight games. Expect him to make it three in a row.

Kareem Hunt (RB, KC)
  • Rush Yards (Standard) — MORE

  • PrizePicks: 44.5

  • Fantasy Points: 59.6

With Isiah Pacheco sidelined at practice, Hunt looks set for full control of the KC backfield. The Bills give up 150.3 rush yards per game and the 2nd-most YAC per attempt (2.81). Hunt averages 1.36 more YPC on zone runs — exactly where Buffalo struggles, allowing 5.85 YPC. Even if Pacheco is active, Hunt has enough efficiency to clear this mark.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba (WR, SEA)
  • Receiving Yards (Standard) — MORE
  • PrizePicks: 96.5
  • Fantasy Points: 123.6

Smith-Njigba has topped this projection in all but two games — and in one of those, he still hit 96 yards. His Fantasy Points projection (123.6) even beats his Demon projection (119.5). Washington allows the 2nd-highest YPRR (1.71), highest YPT (9.19), and 5th-most receiving yards (260.9/game). Add in his 2nd-highest 1st-read rate and the Commanders’ 74.4% 1st-read target rate, and it’s another smash spot.

Additional Picks

Want more than just Standard options for your lineup? We have you covered.

Kyle Pitts (TE, ATL)
  • Receiving Yards (Demon) — MORE
  • PrizePicks: 49.5
  • Fantasy Points: 52.4

Even with all of the uncertainty in Atlanta regarding who plays quarterback, Pitts has turned in strong back-to-back outings. The Patriots allow 28.9% of targets to TEs, including 16% to inline alignments. Over their last five games, they’ve surrendered 72.8 yards per game to the position. Pitts’ usage and efficiency keep trending up.

Marvin Harrison Jr. (WR, ARZ)
  • Receiving Yards (Goblin) — MORE
  • PrizePicks: 49.5
  • Fantasy Points: 66.5

Harrison has gone over this projection in three of his last four games, and with Kyler Murray back, his volume and efficiency both rise. Dallas runs zone 78.9% of the time (6th-highest), and Harrison’s YPRR jumps 42.7% vs zone. A strong Goblin play for Week 9.
