Josh Allen (BUF) under 229.5 passing yards (-110, Bet365)
I present to you Josh Allen’s numbers in six career games (including playoffs) against the Ravens: 54.5% completion percentage, 5.3 yards per attempt, 157.7 yards per game, 72.9 passer rating. He threw for under 200 yards and 0 touchdowns in each of last season’s matchups.
Baltimore fielded the NFL’s best defense after Week 11 when Kyle Hamilton moved to free safety to solve issues on the backend. They allowed 191 passing yards per game in that span, with an opponent reaching 205 passing yards just once (Russell Wilson in the Wild Card Round).
Of course, we shouldn’t just lean on previous trends for future predictions, but Zach Orr’s unit is perhaps even better this year. Former All-Pro cornerback Jaire Alexander, All-American safety Malaki Starks, and FBS sack leader Mike Green are now in the fold, and Orr himself is entering his second season as defensive coordinator. The Ravens are loaded.
Meanwhile, the Bills’ top pass-catchers are a little banged up, with Khalil Shakir (ankle sprain) missing all of preseason and Keon Coleman (groin) being limited in practice this week.
The reigning NFL MVP will need a career performance to find much success through the air tonight.
