Thursday Night Football

It’s a homecoming party for South Florida boys Lamar Jackson and Marquise Brown with the Ravens heading to Miami to take on the lowly Dolphins. I’m taking Marquise Brown (Bal) over 62.5 receiving yards (100 pts) for my first prop. He’s averaging career-highs in YPR (14.8), catches per game (5.8), and receiving yards per game (85.3), and the Dolphins are giving up the fourth-most receiving yards per game (192.8) to WRs. I’m fading Myles Gaskin (Mia) under 80.5 rushing and receiving yards (95 pts) for my other prop on TNF. Gaskin is coming off season-highs in snap share (72%), carries (20), and touches (26), but he turned his massive workload into just 57 yards for 2.2 yards per touch. Gaskin reached 81+ scrimmage yards just once in nine games and he needed 10 catches against the Buccaneers in Week 5 to do it, so I’m banking on him continuing to underwhelm this week. Good luck! — Tom Brolley

Sunday Football

Selecting one of my same bets I hit on for Thrive last week is not cheating, right? Back in October, Derrick Henry rushed for three TD’s against Jaxsonville, and back in September James Conner rushed for two. Jonathan Taylor is on absolute fire, scoring a TD every single game from weeks four through 10 totaling eight in that six game span. Smashing Jonathan Taylor over .5 rushing TD’s (80 pts).

Ben Roethlisberger was cleared to play for Sunday after dealing with a pectoral and right shoulder issue. Although Pittsburgh plays the 0-8 Detroit Lions, I am thinking that Mike Tomlin is planning to get the job done without overusing a banged up 39 year old QB in this one. In Roethlisberger’s eight games this season, he has only thrown over one TD in two games (25%), and even though the matchup on paper looks nice I like the odds of him throwing for only one again. I expect a bigger Najee Harris day as well here. I am selecting Ben Roethlisberger under 1.5 passing TD’s (90 pts) for my second pick. Hoping to keep my Thrive hot streak alive here guys!

We’ve made it to double-digit weeks! I’m looking at one of the hottest running backs in the league for my first prop, taking Jonathan Taylor (Ind) over 89.5 rushing yards. Taylor has posted 19+ FP in six straight games thanks to nine TDs in that span, and he’s totaled 110+ scrimmage yards in each of those contests. The Colts are also once again phasing Marlon Mack out of the backfield, which has resulted in a 65% snap share or better in four straight games. I’m taking Antonio Gibson (Was) under 42.5 rushing yards for my second prop. Gibson hasn’t played more than 42% of the snaps in his last three games, and he’s coming off season-lows in snap share (33%) and carries (8) against the Broncos. Tampa is giving up the second-fewest rushing yards per game (55.9) so Gibson’s season could continue to trend in the wrong direction. Good luck! — Tom Brolley

Monday Night Football

The 49ers’ season is on life support heading into Monday Night Football, while the Rams are reeling a bit after losing Robert Woods to a torn ACL this weekend. I’m looking at one of the players who will have to step up while Woods is out of the lineup and I’m taking Van Jefferson (LAR) over 2.5 receptions (90 pts). Odell Beckham has been added to the mix but Jefferson should be a full-time player this week after he saw a season-high 96% of the snaps last week with DeSean Jackson officially off of the roster. He’s seen 6+ targets in three straight games after seeing 6+ targets just twice in his first six games. I’m looking at George Kittle (SF) over 50.5 receiving yards (100 pts) for my other MNF prop. Kittle played a healthy 73% of the snaps in Week 9 after a five-week layoff for a calf injury, and he had his best performance of the season with 6/101/1 receiving on eight targets. Kittle owns a 24% target share in his five contests, and the Rams have allowed four different TEs to reach double-digit FP over the last three weeks. Good luck! — Tom Brolley
