This is an overview of the two-game Monday Night Football slate on DraftKings. First position-by-position, with some notes at the end on how I am playing this slate.
General note for a two-game slate: The construction rules obviously don’t apply, but there are many similarities between two-game slates and Showdown slates. You can use some of the same tricks to avoid mega-duped lines, such as leaving salary on the table, playing a defense against your quarterback, game-stacking even more than usual, and finding low-owned players to mix into your lineups.
Quarterbacks
Baker Mayfield ($6,600) leads a Buccaneers offense ranked 13th in pass rate over expectation (PROE). He’ll face a Lions defense that has allowed the 9th-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game (SAFPPG) to quarterbacks.
Jared Goff ($6,000) leads a Lions offense ranked 27th in PROE. He’ll face a Buccaneers defense that has allowed the 10th-most SAFPPG to quarterbacks.
C.J. Stroud ($5,200) leads a Texans offense ranked 12th in PROE. He’ll face a Seahawks defense that has allowed the 16th-fewest SAFPPG to quarterbacks.
Sam Darnold ($5,400) leads a Seahawks offense ranked 29th in PROE. He’ll face a Texans defense that has allowed the fewest SAFPPG to quarterbacks.
