WEEK 2 MONDAY POST-MORTEM
Monday was a down night for the article. There was some sloppy play and offensive line injuries that I think impacted the flow of each game.
In the Tampa Bay @ Houston game, C.J. Stroud completed just 54.2% of his passes after completing 70.4% in Week 1. Nico Collins saw 9 targets but only caught 3 for 52 yards (8 short of the Basic ticket). Emeka Egbuka finished with 4.1 YPT (7.3 YPR) after hitting 11.2 YPT and 16.8 YPR in Week 1. All three missed their respective Basic ticket legs.
In the Los Angeles Chargers @ Las Vegas game, Justin Herbert finished with 27 passing attempts, well below our projection of 34 (likely because the Las Vegas offense struggled and produced 3 turnovers). Ladd McConkey had his lowest targets in a game (5) since Week 10 last season. Both players missed their respective Basic ticket legs.
Luckily, two of my four Supplemental Straight Tickets hit to help soften the blow.
After two weeks of NFL action, here’s where things stand:
Overall Units Risked | Overall Units Won | Results |
12.90 | 8.62 | -4.29 |
On to Week 3.
