WEEK 2 TNF POST-MORTEM
I had the wrong read on Thursday night’s game. Washington did not fare any better against Green Bay’s defense than Detroit did in Week 1.
As a result, Jacory Croskey-Merritt finished with four rushing attempts, about half what we had projected for him, and sank his leg of the basic ticket.
Whereas Jordan Love had 31 passing attempts, one more than we projected, but he finished with 292 passing yards (his highest total in nearly a year, since a 2024 Week 4 shootout against Minnesota). Naturally, the first under leg I recommended on a basic ticket this year was obliterated. In two games now this year, Love’s air yards per attempt have been well over 10.0. He only had three such games last year.
