Week 2 Sunday DraftKings Showdown: ATL-MIN

This is a slate-specific article. If you haven’t already read my short NFL Showdown Primer, please start there for more general NFL Showdown advice.

Studs

These are the top-projected players on the slate. I'd recommend having at least three of these players in most of your lineups, either as captain or in a flex spot.

Justin Jefferson ($11,800) will face a Falcons defense that gave up the most schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game in the NFL to wide receivers last year. Jefferson scored the second-most PPR fantasy points among all WRs last year, though it was a neutral matchup over the final five weeks. In his first game with McCarthy, Jefferson had a 35% target share.

Bijan Robinson ($12,000) will face a Vikings defense that gave up the 4th-fewest schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game to running backs last year.

J.J. McCarthy ($9,400) will face a Falcons defense that gave up the 3rd-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game to quarterbacks last year. In Week 1, the Vikings ranked 30th in neutral pass rate. McCarthy had two rushes for 25 yards.

Neil has been obsessed with fantasy sports for decades, and that obsession started paying off a few years into his DFS career, when he started winning enough to quit his lawyer job. Neil has won an NFL Millionaire Maker and more than 10 six-figure wins across NFL, NBA, MLB, and spring football.
