Week 7 Stat-Pack

Every week, I scour through every team’s trends, performance, game-logs, and advanced data to find stats that matter for fantasy football. Here’s the Week 7 Stat-Pack:

Arizona Cardinals

  • Kyler Murray’s weekly finishes this year: QB5 > QB5 > QB10 > QB6 > QB5 > QB3.

  • Kenyan Drake has two or fewer targets in every game so far.

  • Drake saw four or more targets in 7-of-8 games last season.

  • Even though he’s not seeing any usage in the passing game, Drake is still a workhorse. He’s played on 67% of Cardinals’ snaps — which is the ninth-highest rate among running backs.

Atlanta Falcons

  • Matt Ryan’s weekly finishes when Julio Jones plays this year: QB5 > QB6 > QB1.

  • Ryan’s weekly finishes without Julio: QB27 > QB25 > QB23.

  • When Julio has played, Ryan averages 0.34 expected points added per dropback.

  • Ryan’s EPA when Julio is out: -0.10

Baltimore Ravens

  • Lamar Jackson gained 75 yards on designed runs in Week 6 — a new season-high.

  • Jackson’s passing touchdown rate this year is 6.2% (13th among QBs). Last year, Jackson’s 9% TD rate led the league.

  • Marquise Brown is one of 8 wide receivers that have seen 6 or more targets in every game so far this season.

Buffalo Bills

  • After missing three games, the Bills eased Zack Moss back in his return. Devin Singletary out-snapped Moss (40 to 13) and out-touched him (11 to 5).

  • These are Stefon Diggs’ weekly finishes so far: WR22 > WR2 > WR30 > WR17 > WR13 > WR17.

Carolina Panthers

  • Only four receivers have scored 10 or more PPR points in every game they’ve played so far: Robby Anderson, Stefon Diggs, CeeDee Lamb, and D.K. Metcalf.

  • Keelan Cole is averaging more fantasy points per game (13.6) than D.J. Moore (13.4).

  • Over the last four weeks without Christian McCaffrey, Mike Davis leads all running backs in snap rate (80%) and trails only Derrick Henry (28.9) and Alvin Kamara (28.5) in fantasy points per game (21.7).

Chicago Bears

  • Allen Robinson has now seen eight or more targets in 12 straight games dating back to last year.

  • Nick Foles’ target distribution in 3 and ½ games: Robinson (41), Jimmy Graham (25), Darnell Mooney (22), and David Montgomery (22).

  • Jimmy Graham is tied with T.J. Hockenson for the second-most end zone targets among tight ends (6). Mark Andrews (7) is first.

Cincinnati Bengals

  • Joe Burrow’s passer rating when he targets A.J. Green is 54.6. When he targets Tyler Boyd it’s 101.8 and when he throws to Tee Higgins it’s 110.8.

  • Over the last month, Higgins is 21st among all receivers in fantasy points per game (15.7).

  • Burrow is first in pass attempts (246) but 29th in passing touchdown rate (2.9%).

  • Burrow ranks fourth-from-last in on-target throw rate on passes of 20+ yards per SIS (36%).

Cleveland Browns

  • Over the last two weeks without Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt has handled 70% of the Browns snaps and 67% of the RB opportunities (attempts + targets).

  • In Week 7, Hunt gets to face a Bengals defense that is allowing the seventh-most yards per touch to opposing RBs.

  • Odell Beckham has been held under 90 receiving yards in 16 straight games.

  • OBJ averaged 92.8 yards per game in his Giants career.

Dallas Cowboys

  • Andy Dalton’s passer rating on MNF against the Cardinals was 65.8.

  • Dak Prescott’s worst single-game passer rating over the last two seasons came last year on the road against the Patriots (64.2).

  • Dalton’s target distribution on 66 throws so far: Amari Cooper (13), CeeDee Lamb (13), Ezekiel Elliott (11), Michael Gallup (9).

  • Lamb is on pace for 1,325 yards — which would be second-most all-time for a rookie WR behind only Anquan Boldin (1,377).

Denver Broncos

  • Tim Patrick very quietly leads the Broncos in both receptions and yards this year.

Detroit Lions

  • D’Andre Swift’s breakout performance was great to see, but he still played on just 38% of the Lions snaps and Kerryon Johnson ran more routes than him (11 to 10).

  • Kenny Golladay has out-targeted Marvin Jones 21 to 10 over the last three games.

Green Bay Packers

  • According to Next Gen Stats, Aaron Rodgers was under pressure on 13.4% of his dropbacks in Week 1-5. In Week 6 against Tampa, he was pressured 33% of the time.

  • Tampa Bay blitzed Rodgers on 38% of his dropbacks where Rodgers went 3-of-12 for 25 yards and 2 INTs.

  • Davante Adams has seen 10 or more targets in 12 of his last 13 games (including the postseason).

Houston Texans

  • If you discount his Week 2 game where he was limited because of a hamstring injury, Will Fuller is averaging 19.5 fantasy points per game in his five other outings.

  • Adam Thielen is the WR7 in FPG (19.5).

  • All the Texans needed to do was to fire Bill O’Brien to unlock Brandin Cooks. In four games with O’Brien, Cooks saw just 21 targets and turned them into 10/138 receiving.

  • In two games with O’Brien gone, Cooks has 21 targets and 17/229/2.

Indianapolis Colts

  • These are Jonathan Taylor’s weekly finishes over the last five weeks without Marlon Mack: RB14 > RB25 > RB36 > RB18 > RB9.

  • The Colts offensive line hasn’t been as dominant to start this season so far. According to FootballOutsiders, the Colts are 26th in adjusted offensive line yards after ranking 12th in 2019 and 4th in 2018.

  • Since 2015, T.Y. Hilton has played in 36 games with Luck and 42 without him. With Andrew Luck, Hilton averages 16.9 fantasy points and 89.2 yards per game and just 11.0 FPG and 55.7 YPG with all other Colts’ quarterbacks in this timeframe.

Las Vegas Raiders (Bye)

Los Angeles Chargers (Bye)

Los Angeles Rams

  • After randomly only getting 8 carries in a game the Rams largely controlled against the Giants in Week 4, Darrell Henderson has handled 29 carries over the last two games.

  • Malcolm Brown has just 10 carries over Week 5-6.

Miami Dolphins

  • With Jordan Howard (healthy scratch) out over the last two weeks, Myles Gaskin has handled six of the Dolphins 7 RB touches inside of the 10-yard line (red-zone).

  • Gaskin has handled 43 opportunities (attempts + targets) in Week 5-6 — seventh-most among all RBs in this span.

Minnesota Vikings

  • Justin Jefferson leads all receivers in yards and fantasy points over the last month.

  • After running 82% of his routes from the slot in Week 1-2, Jefferson has run 73% of his routes out wide in Week 3-6.

  • Jefferson is fifth among all receivers in yards after the catch per reception behind only Robert Woods, Terry McLaurin, Cooper Kupp, and Kendrick Bourne.

New England Patriots

  • James White led the Patriots in targets (9) with Cam Newton back this past week.

  • Cam Newton is averaging a career-high 11.3 carries and 56.3 yards per game on the ground.

  • Despite missing a game and having their game rescheduled last week, Newton leads all QBs in designed runs with 30 per SIS. Lamar Jackson is second (27).

  • Julian Edelman’s catch rate is 56% — which would be a career-low. Edelman’s catch rate from 2013-19 was 67%.
