Week 12 Stat-Pack

It’s Thanksgiving week! Which, let’s be honest. It’s the best week of the year. How could you not love spending time with family, eating 3,500 calories, day drinking, and football? Not only is it a time to reflect and be grateful, it’s also time to grind out the best DFS slate of the year and make the final push for the playoffs in season-long leagues. I’ve got all the stats and info you need to help:

Arizona Cardinals

  • Chase Edmonds (72) and Kenyan Drake (71) have split snaps right down the middle over the last two weeks.

  • Christian Kirk has seen a target share of more than 20% in one game all season long.

Atlanta Falcons

  • Matt Ryan’s weekly finishes when Julio Jones starts and finishes the game: QB8 > QB6 > QB2 > QB20 > QB11 > QB12.

  • Ryan’s finishes when Julio is out or leaves the game early: QB27 > QB23 > QB25 > QB27.

  • Calvin Ridley has been as consistent as they come this season and has now posted 14 or more fantasy points and 60+ yards in seven of the 8 games that he’s completed.

  • Since Week 6, a total of 31 players have 50 or more carries. Out of this group, Todd Gurley ranks last in yards per carry (2.7). Adrian Peterson ranks second-worst (2.9 YPC).

  • Just 17% of Gurley’s carries in this span have generated a first down, which ranks second-worst.

Baltimore Ravens

  • Marquise Brown’s target share since the Ravens Week 7 bye (last four games): 14% (16 targets).

  • Willie Snead’s target share in this span: 23% (25 targets).

  • J.K. Dobbins tied his season-high in carries (15) last week while Gus Edwards (3 carries) and Mark Ingram’s (2) snaps were cut dramatically.

  • Ingram played on just 9% of the Ravens snaps in Week 11, a season-low.

  • Lamar Jackson is completing just 57% of his throws and averaging 5.5 yards per pass attempt when blitzed this season.

  • The Steelers send extra blitzers at the second-highest rate in the league (42%).

Buffalo Bills (Bye Last Week)

Carolina Panthers

  • In his first three games without CMC, Mike Davis averaged 4.9 YPC and 1.7 yards per route run.

  • Over his last five starts, Davis is averaging 3.5 YPC and 0.6 yards per route run.

  • Panthers WR targets over their last four games: Robby Anderson (36), Curtis Samuel (29), D.J. Moore (27).

Chicago Bears (Bye Last Week)

Cincinnati Bengals

  • In three starts last season, Ryan Finley completed just 47% of his passes, averaged 5.5 yards per attempt, and was held under 200 yards in each game.

  • Tyler Boyd had 6/62, 0/0, and 5/101/1 in Finley’s starts.

Cleveland Browns

  • Nick Chubb has out-scored Kareem Hunt in four-straight games.

  • Chubb’s weekly finishes in his five full games: RB44 > RB4 > RB8 > RB11 > RB22.

  • Hunt’s weekly finishes when Chubb is healthy: RB24 > RB7 > RB23 > RB13 > RB32.

  • In those five full games, Chubb has 90 carries while Hunt has 71.

  • The Browns have gone 54% run-heavy when Chubb has played — which would tie the Ravens for the highest rate in the league.

Dallas Cowboys

  • Andy Dalton’s target distribution in three starts: Amari Cooper (25), CeeDee Lamb (25), Michael Gallup (15), Dalton Schultz (15), and Ezekiel Elliott (14).

  • Cooper’s stat lines in three full games with Dalton so far: 7/79/1, 7/80, and 6/81.

  • Without Dak Prescott, Zeke’s passing down usage has dwindled. In his first four games of the season, Elliott averaged 7.5 targets per game.

  • Over his last four games, Zeke has just 9 targets… total.

Denver Broncos

  • Drew Lock’s passer rating when under pressure is 24.8. Only Jake Luton (2.8) is worse.

  • Against the blitz, Lock has completed just 48% of his attempts, thrown 6 INTs, and put up a 41.5 passer rating.

  • When he’s thrown from a clean pocket, Lock’s passer rating is 88.4. Only Nick Foles (86.6), Carson Wentz (83.2), and Sam Darnold (68.7) have been worse.

  • Just 64% of Jerry Jeudy’s targets have been deemed “catchable” per Sports Info Solutions, which is the third-lowest rate among qualified WRs.

Detroit Lions

  • T.J. Hockenson has now cleared 50 yards or scored a touchdown in 9-of-10 games.

  • Though, for some odd reason — the Lions have cut Hockenson’s snaps. I have no clue why, but Hockenson has run a route on just 59% of Matthew Stafford’s dropbacks over the last two weeks.

Green Bay Packers

  • Aaron Rodgers has now thrown for 280 yards and multiple scores in 8-of-10 games.

  • Rodgers had 280+ yards and 2+ TD in just 5-of-16 games last year.

  • Davante Adams is averaging 9.3 receptions, 115.9 yards, and 1.4 TDs per game in the seven games he’s completed.

  • Even though he missed two games because of an injury and left early in another, Adams is the WR1 by a margin of 10.5 fantasy points over Tyreek Hill.

Houston Texans

  • Over his last seven games, Deshaun Watson has completed 70% of his throws, averaged 298.7 yards per game, and owns a 16:2 TD-to-INT ratio.

  • Not only is Watson playing out of his mind, he is also starting to run way more. He’s now cleared 25+ yards rushing in six-straight games and leads the league in scramble rush attempts (39) over Russell Wilson (37), Kyler Murray (33), and Lamar Jackson (30).

  • Duke Johnson leads all RBs in snap rate over the last two weeks (86%) and gets one more chance to produce this week against a Lions front-seven that is allowing the most fantasy points and the second-most scrimmage yards per game to RBs.

  • Texans WR targets since Bill O’Brien was fired: Brandin Cooks (50), Will Fuller (46).

Indianapolis Colts

  • The Colts RB roulette wheel continued this past week with Jonathan Taylor getting 26 touches and setting a four-game high in snaps (56%).

  • Over the last three weeks, Michael Pittman leads the team in routes (105) and targets (18).

  • After clearing 35 pass attempts once in his first five games, Philip Rivers has 35 or more attempts in four of his past 5.

Jacksonville Jaguars

  • Over the last two weeks with Chris Thompson sidelined, James Robinson has been on the field for 77% of Jaguars snaps. That’s the fourth-highest rate among RBs.

  • Jake Luton’s target distribution so far: D.J. Chark (25), Chris Conley (20), Tyler Eifert (14), Keelan Cole (14), and Robinson (9).

Kansas City Chiefs

  • Tyreek Hill has finished as a WR2 or better (top-24) in 8-of-10 games.

  • In the two previous seasons, Hill finished as a WR2 or better in 15-of-28 games (54%).

  • Travis Kelce’s weekly finishes this year: TE4 > TE4 > TE5 > TE8 > TE1 > TE3 > TE26 > TE1 > TE1 > TE1.

  • Le’Veon Bell has yet to play more than 33% of the team’s snaps in any game.

Las Vegas Raiders

  • These are the top-6 QBs in expected points added per attempt: Patrick Mahomes (0.30), Aaron Rodgers (0.24), Deshaun Watson (0.21), Josh Allen (0.19), Ryan Tannehill (0.19)… and Derek Carr (0.18).

  • Carr also ranks 5th-best in passer rating (108.7) and completion rate (69.7%).

  • Just imagine how good Carr and this offense would be if they had taken Jerry Jeudy or CeeDee Lamb instead of Henry Ruggs. In fact, Ruggs’ snaps have been cut in three-straight games: 78% > 63% > 54%.

  • Darren Waller leads the Raiders in targets with 83. The next closest player? Hunter Renfrow with 41.

Los Angeles Chargers

  • Since their bye, these are Herbert’s weekly scoring results: QB1 > QB6 > QB10 > QB8 > QB2.

  • Herbert has attempted 42 or more passes in four of his last 5 games.

  • If you throw away the game where he hurt his back and left early in Week 5, Keenan Allen is averaging 9.4 receptions and 96.1 yards per game with Herbert in eight full starts.

  • Allen’s 22.7 fantasy points per game with Herbert would rank as the 15th-best season by a wide receiver since the merger.

  • Over the last two weeks, Kalen Ballage ranks sixth among all RBs in snap rate (70%).

  • Joshua Kelley played on 13% of Chargers snaps last week, a season-low.

Los Angeles Rams

  • Is HC Sean McVay finally starting to open this offense up a bit? Over their first five games, the Rams were the third-most run-heavy team in the league on early downs (56% run on 1st and 2nd downs).

  • Over their last five, the Rams are actually back to 56% pass-heavy on early downs.

  • In Week 1-5, Jared Goff never attempted more than 32 passes in a game.

  • Over the last five games, Goff is averaging 44 passes per game.

Miami Dolphins

  • When Ryan Fitzpatrick is on the field, the Dolphins offense gains 0.04 expected points per play.

  • When Fitzmagic is off of the field, their offense loses -0.11 EPA per play.

  • So, over the course of a full game (call it 65 plays), Miami’s offense is better by 9.8 expected points when Fitzpatrick is the starter.

Minnesota Vikings

  • Why can’t more teams be exactly like the Vikings? We know where the ball is going every week… Since Justin Jefferson was made a full-time starter in Week 3, Adam Thielen and Jefferson have combined for 54% of the targets and a staggering 77% of their air yards.

  • Dalvin Cook’s opportunities (attempts + targets) over his last seven games: 27, 29, 22, 33, 24, 34, and 31.

  • Kirk Cousins is quietly averaging career-best marks in YPA (8.9) and touchdown rate (7.3%).

New England Patriots

  • It definitely hasn’t been pretty at times, but Cam Newton has finished as a top-15 scoring QB in four-straight games since his disastrous outing against the 49ers in Week 7.

New Orleans Saints

  • Taysom Hill targeted Michael Thomas on 12 of his 23 throws in his first start. Thomas accounted for 45% of the Saints passing yardage.

  • Six of Hill’s 10 carries in his first start were designed.

  • Alvin Kamara failed to catch a pass for the first time in 60 career games last week.

  • Kamara also played on 48% of Saints’ snaps, a season-low.

New York Giants (Bye Last Week)

New York Jets

  • Jets WR targets over the last two weeks: Denzel Mims (16), Breshad Perriman (12), and Jamison Crowder (5).

Philadelphia Eagles

  • The Eagles have now scored on 29% of their offensive drives. Only the Jets (27%) have scored less often.

  • Just 53% of Carson Wentz’s throws of 10+ yards downfield have been on target, which is the worst rate in the league. Drew Lock (55%) and Sam Darnold (57%) are second and third-worst.

  • Only Joe Flacco (39%) has been less accurate on throws of 20+ yards than Wentz (42%).

Pittsburgh Steelers

  • In seven fully completed games this season, Diontae Johnson is averaging 18.0 fantasy points and 11.1 targets per game.

  • That would make Johnson the WR9 this season.

  • Davante Adams leads the league in targets/game with 11.6.

  • Johnson, Chase Claypool, and JuJu Smith-Schuster have combined for 68% of Ben Roethlisberger’s targets over the last month.

  • The Steelers are the fourth-most pass-heavy team in the league over the last four weeks (68%).

San Francisco 49ers (Bye Last Week)

Seattle Seahawks

  • Lost in how well Russell Wilson is playing is that he’s running way more now than in the past few seasons. Wilson is averaging 36.7 yards per game and 6.7 yards per carry and both of those figures would rank second-best in his career.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

  • Tom Brady’s target distribution over the last three weeks: Antonio Brown (26), Mike Evans (26), Chris Godwin (22), and Rob Gronkowski (15).

  • Over his last eight games, Brady ranks third from last in passer rating on throws of 20+ air yards. Only Drew Lock (22.0) and Jake Luton (43.1) have been worse.

  • Ronald Jones ripped off a 98-yarder in Week 10, but he’s now been held under 35 yards rushing in four of his last 5 games.

Tennessee Titans

  • In now 18 games with Ryan Tannehill as the starter, A.J. Brown has scored at least 12 PPR points 12 times and cleared 20+ points eight times.

  • When Brown sees 7 or more targets, he averages 19.5 fantasy points per game.

Washington

  • J.D. McKissic’s usage has been highly game script dependent. 57 of his 66 targets have come when Washington has been behind on the scoreboard.

  • Terry McLaurin has seen 7 or more targets in every single game. He’s also cleared 60 yards in 9-of-10 games.

  • McLaurin is on pace for 1,393 yards — which would be 15th-most all-time for a second-year wide receiver.
