Week 11 Streaming DSTs

Week 10 was a solid week for our streamers, with the Saints and Dolphins putting up strong top-10 efforts, though the Eagles collapsed against the Giants. Let’s dive into this week’s streaming options. As always, we’re looking for under 50% rostered in Yahoo! Leagues.

Cleveland Browns (Cle, 18%) vs. Phi

Philly boasted a healthier O-line and more offensive weapons out of their bye…and still managed just 17 points while surrendering 3 sacks. The Eagles have given up at least 3 sacks in every game but one, and the Browns know a thing or two about sacks. Myles Garrett and Co. average 3 sacks per game, and just held the Texans to 7 points after holding the Raiders to 17 points. Coming out of the bye, Carson Wentz didn’t look any better and has 12 INTs on the season, helping the Eagles to a top-5 opponent for DSTs. Vegas has Philly around 22 expected points. Add a few sacks and a turnover, and you’ve got yourself a solid defensive performance from an under-rostered unit.

Los Angeles Chargers (LAC, 42%) vs. NYJ

Put simply: this is a completely different defense when Joey Bosa is healthy. Bosa has dealt with multiple injuries this season, including missing the last two weeks with a concussion. But he did practice late last week before not clearing the final hurdle, so he’s a good bet to be back this week. The Jets have been one of the easiest targets for defenses this season, and while that has continued with Joe Flacco, it hasn’t been the automatic option it was earlier in the season. Still, this is an offense with few playmakers, and a dysfunctional unit as whole, so if Bosa is back, we should see some defensive fireworks. Even with Flacco at the helm, the Jets give up the most FPG to opposing DSTs.

Washington Football Team (Was, 30%) vs. Cin

Only consider Washington if you’re really hurting, but this unit does have massive sack upside and Cincinnati’s O-line has been vulnerable. The Bengals have given up at least 4 sacks in four of their last seven games, while Chase Young and this Washington D-line can rack up sacks in a hurry. They have games of 5, 6, and 8 sacks this season. Joe Burrow has thrown a pick in four of his last six games, so there’s also a decent chance the rookie QB will turn it over. The Football Team hasn’t done much in terms of limiting scoring, and Burrow is likely to get Joe Mixon back this week, so don’t expect a shutdown performance by this D that gave up 30 points to the Lions and 23 points to the Giants.
