Fanball Week 4 Superflex Review

We are once again working with our friends over at Fanball and the NFFC for the FantasyPoints.com $4K SUPERFLEX Drive, which is a typical DFS contest but with a SuperFlex, so it’s a relatively unique way to play DFS.

I think this is a pretty cool little contest in general, but part of the appeal for our customers is they get a chance to compete against me, Joe Dolan, Tom Brolley, Graham Barfield, and Scott Barrett, and you can see our picks and processes each week.

This year, we promised to keep track of our standings each week and for the season, but I unfortunately had some technical difficulties in Week Three and my lineup wasn’t submitted, so we will now simply track the number of overall wins for the season.

After Joe Dolan impressively won the first two weeks, Tom Brolley stepped in and swept us in Weeks 3-4. Brolley rolled with Jalen Hurts, Derrick Henry, and Terry McLaurin for big points but he also had numerous underachievers like D’Andre Swift, Jalen Reagor, Cameron Brate, and Tom Brady.

Scott Barrett and I were very close to Brolley last week, while Dolan’s team completely shit the bed. My team had strong producers in Patrick Mahomes, Derrick Henry, and Dawson Knox, along with some decent performers like DK Metcalf and Robert Woods. But also several dudes who came up small like D’Andre Swift, Robby Anderson, and Brandon Aiyuk, plus I used Jimmy Garoppolo and he got hurt. Somehow, this poor lineup finished 362nd out of 850 entries.

Scott’s team was led by two nice picks in Sam Darnold and Clyde Edwards-Helaire along with Dak Prescott, but Scott’s team got crushed by a couple of flyers that didn’t pan out in Terrace Marshall and Nick Westbrook Ikhine, and Jalen Waddle. I was with him on Waddle and Marshall, for what it’s worth.

Here’s our staff along with their number wins:

Joe Dolan — 2

Scott Barrett — 0

Tom Brolley — 2 Graham Barfield — 0 John Hansen — 0

Congrats are in order to @uofmhedfan23, who took down the Week 4 tournament with 243.84 points, turning $5 into $750.

He had Sam Darnold and Tayler Heinicke, good for 65.4 freaking points, Deebo Samuel, Terry McLaurin, Cord Patterson, Derrick Henry, Dawson Knox, among others. That was a ridiculous Week 4 lineup! Week done!
