Thursday Night Football

Oh baby, what a doozy of a Thursday night game. The only way to make it interesting is by having a little action on it. I’m looking at K.J. Hamler over 35.5 receiving yards (105 pts) after he played a team-high 92% snap share last week. He’s also seen 12 targets with an aDOT sitting at 13.4 yards since returning to the lineup over the last two weeks. I’ll also look toward Braxton Berrios under 40.5 receiving yards (105 pts) and under his 3.5 catches (95 pts) with news that Jamison Crowder is returning to the lineup this week against the Broncos. Good luck enjoying the worst game of the year so far! — Tom Brolley

Sunday Games

I’m looking at my hometown team--the Philadelphia Eagles--and see an easy pick. Carson Wentz enters Week 4 with severely limited options at wideout outside of Zach Ertz. His WR corps this week consists of Greg Ward, Deontay Burnett, John Hightower, and Travis Fulgham. Yikes. Ward made for a solid WW pickup this week, but there’s no way I see this as a game for Wentz to get right, so I’m taking Carson Wentz under 22.5 completions (100 pts). On the other side of the ball, George Kittle returns to the lineup. The Eagles have already allowed 4 total TDs to TEs this season (Higbee: 3, Thomas: 1), but for the most part, the TEs have done damage in the red-zone, as no TE has eclipsed 55 receiving yards (Higbee went 5/54). Outside of CB Darius Slay, the Eagles secondary has looked mediocre at best, but I’m still taking George Kittle under 60.5 receiving yards (95 pts). The Niners have been spreading the ball around, and I don’t think they’ll need a big game from Kittle to pull out a W. -- Ben

I’m going to counter Ben here. I’m taking George Kittle O 60.5 receiving yards. The Eagles’ linebacking corps might be the worst in football, and LB Nate Gerry has been embarrassed in coverage weekly. I think the Niners are going to feed Kittle. I also like Stefon Diggs O 0.5 TD against a shorthanded Raider secondary. — Joe Dolan

I’m expecting a potential shootout in Miami this week between the Seahawks and the Dolphins. I gave out Devante Parker over 61.5 receiving yards as one of my Best Bets this week going against a banged up Seattle secondary that’s been getting gashed all season. Parker has posted serviceable numbers the last couple weeks while laboring through a hamstring injury, and he had 10 days since their last game to get back to full strength. I’m also looking at another receiver who will be playing in his second game after a hamstring injury. I’m Kenny Golladay over 62.5 receiving yards after playing on a promising 73% of the snaps last week. The Saints will be down their top two CBs this week, and Allen Lazard just posted 8/146/1 receiving in this matchup last week. For my last set of picks, I’m fading the Cardinals passing attack this week going against the run-funnel Panthers defense. I’m taking Kyler Murray under 276.5 passing yards and DeAndre Hopkins under 7.5 receptions because the league’s leading receiver could be a bit compromised playing through an ankle injury that forced him to miss practice this week. Good luck! — Tom Brolley
