Thursday Night Football

I like the Jaguars on Thursday night to win by margin this week so I’m looking at James Robinson over 75.5 rushing and receiving yards (95 pts) since he could see some extra second-half carries. He’s coming off a 120-yard performance against the Titans last week. I’ll also look at Mike Gesicki over 47.5 receiving yards (105 pts) going against a Jaguars defense that allowed Jonnu Smith to go for 4/84/2 receiving last week. Gesicki just tormented the Bills too, hanging 8/129/1 receiving on 11 targets. Also, I’ll take Josh Lambo under 7.5 points (95 pts) since he won’t play this week after he landed on the injured reserve with a hip injury. — Tom Brolley

Oh sure Tom. Take the easy Josh Lambo pick why dontcha? Well, two can play at that game. I’ll see your Lambo he’s-not-playing pick and raise you a D.J. Chark Under 54.5 yards (100 pts) and Under 4.5 receptions (85 pts). Chark has been ruled out. And since I believe it will be the team’s target leader who benefits, I’ll take the Keelan Cole Over 39.5 receiving yards (85 points). — Justin Varnes

Sunday Games

I was shocked to see Jonathan Taylor’s total yardage prop set at 95.5 against the lifeless Jets. I’ll happily take the over (95 points) here. As massive 12.5-point home favorites, Taylor should erupt in Week 3. Taylor was a workhorse last week, handling 24 of the Colts 28 carries in the first three quarters in his first start without Marlon Mack (IR). He could seriously threaten the over in one half of work. I also like the over on Matthew Stafford’s 270.5 passing yards (90 points) in a paced-up shoot out against the Cardinals. Even though he’s less than 100% by his own admission, getting Kenny Golladay back off of a hamstring injury should help open up the Lions vertical passing attack. If the Cardinals get out to an early lead, it’ll force Stafford to throw a bunch to keep up -- which is exactly how a bunch of Lions games have gone over the last few years. Since the start of 2019, Stafford is averaging 304 yards in his last 10 starts. — Graham Barfield

The Titans and the Bears are the only teams that have yet to find the end zone on the ground, which is stunning since Derrick Henry has handled a league-high 59 touches so far this season. That’s going to change this week in a game the Titans should control so I’ll take Derrick Henry over .5 rushing TDs (80 pts). The Vikings are giving up 140.0 rushing yards and 1.0 rushing TDs per game to RBs, and they just lost Anthony Barr and his replacement Troy Dye. I’m also looking at Josh Jacobs under 83.5 rushing yards (90 pts) with the Raiders potentially playing from behind this week and because he’s come into this week nursing a hip injury, which he gutted through on Monday Night Football. I’ll also take Alvin Kamara over 103.5 rushing and receiving yards (105 pts). I gave out Kamara over 90.5 yards as a Best Bet last week in his first game without Michael Thomas (ankle), and he cruised to 174 scrimmage yards. It won’t be that easy this week but I still think this a number he should get to with relative ease. — Tom Brolley
