Week 14 Streaming DSTs

Two of our three Week 13 streaming options placed in the top 10 last week. Let’s dive into this week’s streaming options. As always, we’re looking for under 50% rostered in Yahoo! Leagues.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (TB, 45%) vs. Min

The Bucs D started wearing down over the last few weeks, likely a product of not having their bye until Week 13. Now they rejoin the fray rested and ready to host a Minnesota team that has allowed big production to the mediocre defenses of Jacksonville and Carolina in recent weeks. The Vikings have allowed 8 sacks, 2 INTs, 7 lost fumbles, and 3 TDs over the last four weeks. Before their much-needed bye, Tampa Bay was in the top-5 for sacks (34) and INTs (14), and top-10 in forced fumbles (10).

Dallas Cowboys (Dal, 14%) @ Cin

While the Cowboys have shown improvement on defense lately (thanks in part to the return of Leighton Vander Esch and the ascension of safety Donovan Wilson), we’re really just targeting a fully-dysfunctional offense here. The Joe Burrow-less Bengals have scored 10, 9, 17, and 7 points over their last four games. A poor O-line likely just lost LT Jonah Williams for some time with a knee injury, and are working in front of a backup QB. Oh, and Tee Higgins is nursing a sore hammy. Cincy has allowed 16 sacks, 4 INTs, and 5 fumbles in their last four games.

Washington (Was, 24%) @ SF

The Football Team took this past Monday to remind us of how dominant this defense really can be. Chase Young and this monster D-line handed Pittsburgh their first loss of the season, holding them to just 17 points. The Steelers re-designed their offense so Ben Roethlisberger gets the ball out before he can take a sack but prior to that, Washington had at least 4 sacks in four of their last five games. They also have an INT in three straight games. Nick Mullens has been turnover-prone, including 5 INTs in his last three games.

Justin has been holding down the IDP fort for John Hansen and the crew since 2015. In addition to projections and articles, he also hosts an all-IDP podcast called “The IDP Corner,” where he is joined by his fellow FantasyPoints IDP contributor Thomas Simons, along with other special guests.
