Thursday Night Football

With an Over/Under of 52.5, tonight’s game has one of the higher totals expected in Week 6, which should mean several touchdown dances! I’ll be playing MKF’s Touchdown Dance at 6X, meaning I need 4+ touchdowns to be scored by my three selections. With Dallas Goedert likely out and the Eagles coaching staff refusing to place emphasis on the run game, I think DeVonta Smith is good for a tuddy (maybe even 2). I really don’t trust anyone else on the Eagles, so my other 2 players are Mike Evans and Antonio Brown. It’s a numbers game for me tonight, and these 3 players should account for 4 TDs combined. For the Chiefs vs. Washington game, I will be playing MKF’s More or Less and sticking to my brand with a fantasy selection. Adam Schefter tweeted at 12:47am that Tyreek HIll will actually play in this game after missing time this week with a quad injury. As far as fantasy scoring, Hill has put up under 19.5 fantasy points in ⅗ games with two games under 10 fantasy points. IOn the other side of the ball, Terry McLaurin comes in after a tough week last game where he saw a Marshon Lattimore coverage. What I love about McLaurin is his targets, seeing weeks where he has 14 - 13 - 11. Before the start of the week, the Chiefs are giving up the third most passing yards to teams, and with no clear WR2 in a game Washington will have to keep up I expect a high McLaurin usage day. I am selecting Tyreek Hill less than 19.5 fantasy points and Terry McLaurin more than 17.5 fantasy points here.

Another MKF play of mine involves RB’s from the early slates. Antonio Gibson has rushed for under 65 yards the last three games, but what has me more concerned is him playing through a stress fracture in his shin. According to ESPN, Gibson has been limited to 47% of snaps on heavy pass days, which likely is today vs. the Chiefs. My Chicago Bears play the Packers today and will feature 6th round rookie Khalil Herbert as the starter today. Herbert had plenty of touches in a game the Bears were managing a lead last week vs. the Raiders which meant a 75 yard rushing day. What may limit Herbert’s touches is his lack of receiving involvement we saw both last week and at Virginia Tech meaning less time on the field and also the nature of playing the Packers in a game Justin Fields may need to throw more often. I will be combining the selections of Antonio Gibson less than 69.5 rushing yards with Khalil Herbert less than 69.5 rushing yards.
