I like to put out a high number of props each week, so there will always be losses, possibly many of them. That’s why I view my top-5 prop Sunday prop record as being the best gauge of how well I’m doing, since those picks are the best of the best. The season got off to a rough start with a 1-4 record in Week 1, but I got those losses back in Week 3 with a 4-1 mark.
Of course, I felt very strongly that Week 3 was going to be a good week — and it was — but I still got pinched far too many times. Rhamondre Stevenson fumbled early in the game needing only 23 rushing yards in 3+ quarters of football, and I lost Ja’Marr Chase and Jordan Mason props simply because it was a blowout and both teams gave up. I also lost two close ones with Dallas Goedert (missed by 2 yards) and Davante Adams (missed by four yards), and there were also three losses by 12 or fewer yards.
As you can see, an overall 12-12 week, could have easily been at least a nice 15-9 week (62.5%), so with the football Gods still owing me a great week in 2025, I’ll keep firing.
I did miss out on a 5-1 start on TNF by two JSN yards, but I’ll 4-2 to open the week any day of the week.
