After two successful 4-1 weeks, some regression is normal. I was hoping for a 3-2 week type of regression, but it was a 1-4 week type with a couple of poor losses. I guess that’s making up for the gross wins from the prior week, although there were several upsets last weekend.
This week features three top-25 matchups, but is highlighted by some fun matchups between highly ranked teams and intriguing unranked opponents.
This is the second straight rough week for the power rating. The overall record was 24-26, down 4.18 units, and the recommended plays went 12-15, down 4.09 units. For the season, the overall record is 147-135, down 1.36 units, and recommended plays are 88-82, down 2.00 units.
