Week 15 Streaming DSTs

If you are one of those hooligans who streams defenses each week, you’ve come to the right place. We’ll be looking for 50% rostered or less in Yahoo! Leagues.

Miami Dolphins (Mia, 47%) vs. NYJ

Oh, sweet bye week. The Dolphins defense had been on a tear before most fantasy managers had to cut them loose during their Week 14 bye. Since Week Nine, the Miami D has surrendered just 11 points per game. In those five games, they’ve racked up 19 sacks, 8 INTs, 3 fumble recoveries, and 2 TDs. That makes them the #1 DST in most leagues over that stretch. This week, this well-rested unit gets to feast at home on the New York Jets. Bon appetit, fellas.

Philadelphia Eagles (Phi, 20%) vs. Was

Another good defense that had a bye last week, the Eagles have kept four of their last six opponents under 20 points. Keeping the points and yards down is their specialty — Philly is 10th in fewest yards allowed — but sacks and other big plays are harder to come by than some of the other good defenses. Still, they’ll be playing a banged-up Washington team that — when healthy — only averages 20 points a game. Philly is at home and favored by 5.

Cleveland Browns (Cle, 39%) vs. LV

Except for getting rocked by New England (45 PA) back in Week 10, the Browns D has averaged 15 PA over their last six games. They also give up the 4th-fewest yards per game this season (321.2). Led by Myles Garrett, their 2.8 sacks per game are tied for 2nd-most. This week, they face a Raiders team that was humiliated by Kansas City in Week 14 and is 10th in FPA to DSTs. They average 20 points per game, surrendering 2.4 sacks and 0.8 INTs. per game. The Browns are at home and are favored by 6, with a Raiders expected point total of 18.
