Week 10 Streaming DSTs

If you are one of those hooligans who streams defenses each week, you’ve come to the right place. We’ll be looking for 50% rostered or less in Yahoo! Leagues.

Denver Broncos (Den, 47%) vs. Phi

The Broncos have been one of the best defenses in the league, averaging 17 PA, which is 2nd-lowest. Incredibly, they’ve improved since losing their top three LBs and trading away Von Miller. Ever since they put in Baron Browning and traded for Kenny Young, the Broncos D hasn’t given up more than 17 points and has 8 sacks and 3 INTs. This week, they host the Eagles which are an average offense by the numbers. The Broncos also should get their best pass rusher Malik Reed back this week.

Tennessee Titans (Ten, 9%) vs. NO

No Derrick Henry? No problem! Mainly thanks to their much-improved defense, Tennessee took it to the Rams last week (15 PA, 5 sacks, 2 INTs, 1 TD). The Titans D will now finish in the top 5 for the fourth time in five weeks. Boosted by 3 defensive TDs during that stretch, they’re also averaging 3 sacks, 1.5 INTs, and 1 FR per game during this stretch. They potentially face backup QB Trevor Siemian, who managed 25 points in a loss to the Falcons at home, and now travels to take on a much better defense.

Green Bay Packers (GB, 27%) vs. Sea

Green Bay gives up the 6th-fewest points per game so far (20.0). After a bumpy start to the season, The Packers haven’t allowed more than 17 points in three of their last four games and held Kyler Murray’s Cardinals to 21 points. It does look like they might be facing Russell Wilson in his first game back from a finger injury, but with Green Bay favored heavily at home, this defense has a good chance to hold their 3rd Pro Bowl QB in check in as many weeks (although he’s been off his game, holding Patrick Mahomes to 13 points last week is still an admirable feat).

Justin has been holding down the IDP fort for John Hansen and the crew since 2015. In addition to projections and articles, he also hosts an all-IDP podcast called “The IDP Corner,” where he is joined by his fellow FantasyPoints IDP contributor Thomas Simons, along with other special guests.
