Season is flying by as we are nearing November! This week I will be playing MKF’s More or Less with the QB’s for the Rams vs. Texans game. The Texans are allowing the third (tied) most total points this year, which to me means Matthew Stafford can have a big TD day but not necessarily need a high yardage day. Stafford has had 4/7 games with 3+ TD’s, but also 3/7 games under 290 passing yards. I project about 260-270 for the Ram’s QB. Davis Mills is averaging 189 passing yards in the five games he has started and has had games under 200 passing yards in three of those five starts. The rookie QB thrown into the fire has had six total turnovers as well, which may continue in this one vs. the Rams. I will be playing both Matthew Stafford under 290.5 passing yards and Davis Mills under 205.5 passing yards for this game.

I will mix up my next MKF game and play Rapid Fire, selecting Ben Roethlisberger over Baker Mayfield (30.5 yard bonus) in passing yards and then Nick Chubb over Najee Harris (11.5 yard bonus) in rushing yards. Baker was feared to be out this week with his non-throwing shoulder injury, but received the nod on Friday. I have a feeling Cleveland will do all they can to pound the rock and opt in for quick throws to protect their QB which should mean a low passing yard day. Mayfield has also had 4/7 games under 250 passing yards. Nick Chubb is back from injury without Kareem Hunt in the backfield, and although D’Ernest Johnson may have earned himself touches, the fact that Chubb has rushed for 83+ yards in all games this year with a 5.8 yards per carry average gives me optimism for a big day. Najee Harris started the season with under 65 rushing yards in his first four games but has upped his rushing yardage the last two outings with two games above 80 yards. Najee’s yards per carry are 3.8 for the year, and I feel more confident in Chubb’s rushing in this one due to having more consistency in this category. Expect Najee to have a big receiving day though.
