This is an overview of the two-game Monday Night Football slate on DraftKings. First position-by-position, with some notes at the end on how I am playing this slate.
General note for a two-game slate: The construction rules obviously don’t apply, but there are many similarities between two-game slates and Showdown slates. You can use some of the same tricks to avoid mega-duped lines, such as leaving salary on the table, playing a defense against your quarterback, game-stacking even more than usual, and finding low-owned players to mix into your lineups.
Quarterbacks
Bo Nix ($6,000) leads a Broncos offense ranked 4th in pass rate over expectation (PROE). He’ll face a Bengals defense that has allowed the 4th-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game (SAFPPG) to quarterbacks. Nix is averaging 23.7 rushing yards per game.
Justin Fields ($5,500) leads a Jets offense ranked 32nd in PROE. He’ll face a Dolphins defense that has allowed the 8th-most SAFPPG to quarterbacks, and the 3rd-most to QBs via the run. Fields is averaging 48.5 rushing yards per game.
Tua Tagovailoa ($5,200) leads a Dolphins offense ranked 15th in PROE. He’ll face a Jets defense that has allowed the 17th-most SAFPPG to quarterbacks.
Jake Browning ($5,700) leads a Bengals offense ranked 13th in PROE. He’ll face a Broncos defense that has allowed the 5th-fewest SAFPPG to quarterbacks.
