Growing up in a small farming community in central Nebraska, Eliot's love for football was almost a given. He attended his first Cornhusker football game at age six, and his passion for the college game only grew.
While attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Eliot made sure to attend every home football game and travel to as many away games as his wallet allowed. In 2006, with a strong passion for any great football game regardless of the teams, he dipped his toe into college fantasy football. This marked his initial deep dive into college football analysis.
Since 2014, operating online as BaconFueled, Eliot has been heavily involved in the CFF community. He began publishing his analysis and tools in 2022 and has been a repeat guest on multiple CFF podcasts. Eliot's analytical approach integrates film, advanced metrics, and a nuanced understanding of CFF strategy. He joined Fantasy Points in 2025 to contribute to their College Football product.
