Hill (knee) was placed on injured reserve Monday.
Hill will miss the rest of the season due to the knee injury he sustained during Thursday's win at Arizona, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Hill will not return to Thursday's game against the Cardinals after suffering a knee injury.
Hill had three carries for two yards in Sunday's 24-10 victory over Washington.
Hill had one reception for five yards in Sunday's 25-22 victory over the Bengals. He also returned one kick for 16 yards.
Hill had two carries for eight yards in Monday's 35-17 victory over the Lions. He also returned two kicks for 60 yards in the contest.
Hill had five carries for 14 yards in Sunday's 38-3 loss to the Packers.
Hill has a spot on the Packers' initial 53-man roster, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Hill took seven carries for 37 yards and caught one pass for seven yards in Saturday's 19-0 preseason loss to the Bills.
Hill carried the ball seven times for 29 yards and a touchdown and caught both his targets for 11 yards in Saturday's preseason loss to the Jets.
Packers running backs coach Ben Sirmans, via Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, said Sunday that Hill has put himself in "great position" to open the season as the Packers' third running back.
