Saturday Games

We’re down to eight teams with a pair of marquee matchups scheduled as the nightcaps for each day. The Packers get a tough draw against the league’s best defense, and I’m looking at Allen Lazard (GB) under 4.5 receptions (85 pts) for my first prop. Lazard has reached 4+ catches just twice in his final seven games after coming back from his core-muscle injury. The Ravens and the Bills will close out Saturday’s action in a game lined at less than a field goal. I’m taking the bait with Mark Andrews (Bal) over 3.5 receptions (70 pts) against a Bills defense that gave up 14 catches to Colts tight ends last week. Andrews has posted 4+catches in seven straight games after posting 4/41 receiving on a 25% target share last week against the Titans. For my final Saturday, I’m grabbing Josh Allen (Buf) over 310.5 passing and rushing yards (100 pts). Allen has thrown for more than 310.5 yards in 8-of-17 games this season. He also averaged 26.3 rushing yards per game and OC Brian Daboll ran him 11 times for 54 yards against the Colts last week. The Ravens blitz at a league-high 44.1% rate but I think Allen can come through in this matchup after they limited Ryan Tannehill to 165/1 passing last week. Good luck! — Tom Brolley

Sunday Games

The weekend will finish with a flourish with the Chiefs entering the mix for the time this playoffs and with the Buccaneers and the Saints playing Part Three of their NFC South rivalry. I’m looking at Baker Mayfield (Cle) over 235.5 passing yards (95 pts) for my first player prop in what is expected to be the highest scoring game of the weekend with a total sitting at 57 points. Baker has thrown for 258+ yards with multiple TD passes in five of his last seven games since a three-game span played in ugly weather in Weeks 8-11. In the weekend’s finale, I’ll take the free square with Chris Godwin (TB) over 3.5 receptions (70 pts). His four drops last week matched his career total of four from his first 58 games, but I’m expecting a bounce-back performance from Godwin, who has 4+ catches in four straight games and in 11-of-13 games this season. I’m fading Emmanuel Sanders (NO) under 3.5 receptions (115 pts) for my final pick of the weekend. He shot an airball with Michael Thomas and Deonte Harris back in the fold last week, posting just 2/3 receiving on three targets. Tre’Quan Smith also has a chance to return to the lineup after practicing this week so Sanders could have a tough time seeing enough targets to get to four catches this week. Good luck and enjoy all of this weekend’s action. — Tom Brolley
